I have a routine today!! In this chaotic world, don't we like some sense of normalcy with a basic routine item? Today is the day to put out my trash can and recycling for pick up tomorrow. We all have routines every day and we like that in the midst of so much change and turmoil in our world. Something simple can bring much joy, as you know. It has been said that church attendance (virtual, in person or outside) is routine. When you skip a couple Sunday's that, itself, can become routine, and yet God calls us to gather around Word and Sacrament!!

And it's the same thing with our daily spiritual life. I pray you set aside some time to pray each day and lift up those on our prayer list and those on your personal prayer life. Don't make it "complicated" or problematic but to fit into your world and your daily routine. Keep in mind the verse we had yesterday from Philippians "In everything make your requests known to God and the peace that passes all understanding will guard your hearts and minds onto Christ Jesus!"

See you Sunday! (BTW, the forecast as of today calls for 40 degree temperatures, so check your email or check the website Friday/Saturday to confirm. As we know in Indiana, if you don't like the weather just wait it will change!)

God's Peace,
