St. Andrew's Family of faith:

For the first time, I am working more from home than I ever have in my professional life! I am sure that's the case for many of you who work and/or our family members. Now as the weather turns and the Covid cases rise in the state, I am (more or less) discontinuing home visits out of an abundance of caution.

Working from home is an all new world. It’s hard to do this sometimes going from daytime pajamas to nighttime pajamas, lol!! But I wonder why drive to the buildings (which I still do) when both churches bought me a wonderful laptop and I can access everything here. It's different as I am used to fairly busy church buildings in my ministry past, and working at the hospital there were always people around.

We can be reminded as we fast approach Advent/Christmas the name given to Jesus, "Emmanuel" from Matthew 1:22. It means "God with us". In working from home, living from home, staying at home, in the midst of worldwide chaos, God is with you. After all, "home is where the heart is", and our hearts are with God!

***Also, for November 1, TIME CHANGE!! After trick or treating, set your alarms to "fall back" one hour at 2 a.m. Thankfully our cell phones are coded to do this automatically, and maybe your alarm clocks are also. Either way, make a note!!

Peace in the pieces,

Special Note from Kelli

So sorry for those that experienced some difficulties watching our service this past Sunday on our website. The issue was on our end and not yours. We are working through these kinks for the future. You can always watch it on Facebook on the St. Andrew's page. The sermon/service for the week has been included in the Pastor's Top 3 and Announcements email. Please be sure to check it out! The link to the video has also been included. (Kelli was out of town on Sunday and unable to get an internet connection to allow the link to be placed there immediately following service. Again, I am so sorry for this delay!) Please reach out if you have any questions.

On another note, Kelli will again be out of town this coming Sunday (10/25). The link to the video may not be posted until Monday. It will be available on Facebook and hopefully via live stream during actual service on our website.
