Family of Faith at St. Andrews:

I remember a friend and I talking about the concept of time and how quickly it seems to go by. He said something I have always remembered: “If you are not careful, Monday becomes Friday!” And I think that’s true. Time seems to be going by quickly, and this week I am one year as your Pastor!

I started July 1 with my first Sunday on July 5th. It has been an incredible year, and we have been through great challenges and difficulties beyond comparison! However, the pandemic will not define my first year as your Pastor. We will be defined by how we worshipped together, how both churches fed the hungry, and how we persevered despite buildings being closed and Christmas Eve from my living room!!

Well done, good and faithful servants. And now let’s work together to see how the Lord leads us into our 2nd year together. Always remember I love each and everyone of you, your families and those who God will bring new into our families. Let’s pray for each other, continue to worship as your attendance means a great deal. Your giving has been strong, and we will continue to grow financially as we serve together.

And, as Monday becomes Friday this week, stay close to the Lord. If you need anything let me know, don’t be an island unto yourself. We are families of faith, together in this shared ministry, and God is good!! (All the time, and all the time, God is good.)

To God be the Glory,
Pastor Doug
