The Faith Formation that takes place Sunday evenings (7 p.m. on Zoom) is the highlight of my weekend! I so enjoy this diverse group of people, from both congregations, discussing and debating over God's Word. We go down "rabbit holes" all the time, we share, we pray, we discuss, and we love one another. I really urge more of you to join in. You do not have to be a Bible scholar, and you will never be called out or put on the spot. I/we love and welcome you.
This past Sunday night we discussed studying Philippians the next two Sundays (Nov. 14th & 21st) and then have an "Open Forum" discussion on November 28th. We will at that gathering discuss thanksgiving as a daily way of living; we will do an open discussion of those who can attend on that Thanksgiving weekend. Again, please join us.
Last night we ended the study of Ephesians, and I offer these two verses for your reflections:
Ephesians 6:7: "Render service with enthusiasm!"
Ephesians 6:23: "Peace be to the whole community with love and faith from God."
Grace and much peace,
Pastor Doug
