Friends:
It was a wonderful luncheon and congregational meeting Sunday as the family of faith of St. Andrews gathered together for our business meeting. I was so touched to see all of you, to see several on Zoom and to rejoice in the fellowship and joy of being with each other.
Special Thanks:
*Jennifer Baker, leading the meeting in Jan's absence (Jan was under the weather)
*Amanda coordinating the Zoom technology
*Karen Hill and team for preparing, serving and cleaning up a wonderful meal
*Brad Long and his tireless efforts on the church finances along with the Finance team
*Michael Steurer and Mary Lee Long going off Council! Thank you both for years of service!
Congratulations:
Lisa Gold, Amanda Hunter, and Jamie Shake elected to serve on Council. We pray for you three along with Jennifer, Jan, Suzy and Mark on Council.

Top Three Things to know for this first week of February:
1) Friendship Bible Study is our ministry of the quarter! Four times this year we will honor one of our ministries with temple talks, newsletter articles and other events. The Stewardship Team would like to remind us God's call is to give of time, talent, and treasure all year long. By focusing on one of these ministries we ask for special prayers, volunteers and donations.
2) Ash Wednesday, beginning of Lent, Feb. 22nd, 6 p.m. supper, 7 p.m. worship service
3) Joyful Lenten Journey in our library Feb. 19- April 2 at 10 a.m. Come join other adults from the congregation in the study of Joy from a book entitled "Be Joyful" by Warren Wiersbe. Rather than giving something up for Lent, add time to study Joy together in Christ. All our welcomed, the book isn't necessary to take part. See Jim Patton or Suzanne DeBoer for questions.
God be with you until we meet again!
