It was a wonderful day Sunday at the Joint Worship service over at Faith, Avon. We had a really good turnout of both churches and we talked about Lutheranism, and enjoyed time in fellowship and food afterwards. If you missed the service, you can watch on the church Facebook page. When the two churches get together it's fun to see everyone relate together and share stories. It is good for us to be together and Faith did a wonderful job hosting the gathering.
It will be our turn to host October 29th, at 10 a.m., for the now annual Chili Cookoff! Prepare your recipe and get ready for another spirit filled time together with our brothers and sisters at Faith.
TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR THIS FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST:
1) Please review your August newsletter sent out last week on email! Read the articles! Print off the calendar and notice programs and ministries upcoming. Remember coming up September 3 we switch times for worship again ! We will move to 11 a.m. Labor day weekend.
2) Clothes Closet coming up next Saturday, August 12, 10-12! Please talk with Pat Tumey if you can volunteer (or sign up on sheet on the table at church). Donations welcomed.
3) Bible study begins again tonight at 7pm! Follow the link and join us as we study and discuss the Bible stories scheduled for this Sunday!
