Friends:
Family. A word that has changed over the course of time! It's not mom, dad, two kids, a dog, and a white picket fence anymore. The family has changed and we know it does not look the same as it did "back in the day!" Now more than ever, our families are dispersed all over the country.
According to Travel Agent Central, some 85% of Americans will travel to be together as a family. We are dispersed, we have moved, we have had our company relocate us and the list goes on.
This is why I call us, the church, a family of faith! We are family for each other, and our family just did a brilliant job in putting together another Christmas Pageant! It was a spirit filled wonderful gathering at church this past Sunday. Thanks to Jan and the amazing cast and crew that came together to make things happen. I love it.
And, it was good for our family: past, present, and future to be together.
