In the Midweek Moment I preview the Lenten theme this year! Highlights:

Feb. 18 Ash Wednesday

April 2 Agape Supper at Faith

April 3 Good Friday

April 5 Easter

We will use the theme regarding growing as a disciple (follower) of the Lord! Power Surge, a book of that same title by Michael Foss. Lutheran Pastor Foss uses the consonants of that title to "mark" the different parts of a follower. Pray, Worship, Read and Serve, Relate in a small group, and Give. Each Wednesday night light supper (time TBA). The Wednesday evening soup suppers will be a service designed around that particular part of being a disciple! 

TOP 3 THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 14th:

1) Congregational meeting after services on January 25th to vote on "Holy Closure" of the congregation. Please reach out to a Council member or me for questions or any help needed. 

2) The Clothes Closet is under new management thanks to Jeannie Hermerding. Her number for closet information is 317 740 7973. Donations are welcomed, men's clothes, all types, and some baby/toddler items are needed. Please confirm needs with Jeannie. Thanks, as always, to Pat Tumey for her time serving the Lord and managing all things. 

3) COME TO CHURCH! As long as we are up and running, no matter the vote, we are still a worshipping community of faith! Holy Communion, fellowship, time in God's Word all to encourage our walk with the Lord! You are missed,
