Dear St. Andrew's,

The church council met Thursday, February 4th to review the possibility of returning to in-person worship services.  As a means to provide for a data-driven structure for decision-making on this matter going forward, the council has adopted the following protocol as it relates to in-person worship.

Starting the week of February 15th, the decision to hold worship in-person will be determined by Marion County's color-coded level, as located on the Indiana State Department of Health's COVID-19 dashboard (located about mid-way down the page).  This map is updated every Wednesday at noon, assigning each county in the state a status of yellow, orange, or red, based upon key COVID-19 indicators.

  • When Marion County achieves a designation of "yellow" in-person worship will resume the immediately following Sunday.
  • The church will continue holding in-person worship, unless Marion County is listed as "red" on the map. At this time, worship will return to virtual-only starting with the immediately following Sunday.
  • Anytime the status of worship changes, you will receive an email from Kelli indicating the change.  Those who do not receive email communications will be contacted via phone

Please note this process begins on February 15th, so worship on February 14th will remain virtual.  When we are able to return to in-person worship, it will be important to continue under the same guidelines that we have followed during Covid.

Please note that when we return to in-person worship, at the moment, worship will begin at 11am, in accordance with our shared ministry model with Faith. They get the earlier time; we get the later time for now.

We appreciate everyone's patience as we continue to navigate through these challenges.

Please reach out if you have any questions,
Your Council
