Let the Children Come

Jesus offers an important teaching to prepare his followers for the days ahead. He tells them, "Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains just a single grain; but if it dies, it bears much fruit" (John 12:24). Bring in some wheat seeds and stalks (if you can) for your littles to see and touch. Have them decorate a place in your home with them. We can view children as seeds full of hope and potential. Consider how your community affirms them in the present as fully valuable and needed members of the body of Christ.
