Oxford Language Dictionary says to quarantine means: "A place, state or period of isolation." On some level, we are all quarantined whether we are sick or not. I am sure, like me, you feel isolated. Especially now that both churches are virtual only for the time being. Please know that all of this is in an "abundance of caution", and we will persevere and make it through.

We don't know how long this will go on, but we will go week by week and keep you posted via email and announcements. We are not worshipping together at the moment, but we are still together as a family of faith!

Please use this time to reach out to each other! Please use this time to continue to pray for me, and your church council and any in need.

Right now, we pray for Dale and Ruth at St. Andrews and Don at Faith. May our Lord bring us light, love and hope that this too will pass.

In this always changing world, we hold close and believe Hebrews 13:8: "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever!" And all God's people said, "Amen!"

God's Peace, Pr. Doug

TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE WEEK OF JANUARY 10TH, 2022

1) We will again be virtual only for this Sunday, the 16th. Watch for the link to be sent Sunday morning. Like all situations, this is a perfect opportunity to reach out to others and share the link or post it to your Facebook, etc.

2a) St. Andrews has 11 a.m. Congregational meeting January 23rd, 2022. A link will be sent out, and there will be an option to call in from your phone as well. Mark your calendar and plan on joining us for the work and ministry we need to do together as a family of faith.

2b) Faith Lutheran Food Pantry Saturday 9-11 a.m. Due to Covid issues, watch for email on volunteer needs.

3) Remember your churches in your giving. If you normally leave something in the plate at church, please give online or mail to your respective church! The giving has been so strong at both churches, I am so thankful!

God be with you until we meet again!
