Friends:
It was a wonderful Reformation Day service!! We were blessed with a full sanctuary, a beautiful joint choir, and guests speaking about the laundry and clothing closet ministries! I am so thankful for the attendance and the joy we shared in worship and afterwards in the chili cook-off!!   (I understand we had sound and projector issues that made the video recording unusable. We apologize and our working to find out what went wrong.)
Congratulations to Brian Kochersberger, Faith, who won the chili contest! There were many tasty entries, and it was fun to taste and vote. Personally, I haven't been to one of these before, and it was a great experience. There were many, many favorable comments from members of both churches how much we all enjoyed being together.
Our central point for Reformation Day from our founder, Martin Luther:
We have all sinned and fallen short, BUT at the same time God sent Jesus to die for us. Therefore, we are made right with God by grace thru our faith!! (Paraphrase of Romans 3 & 5). We can't skip this! Let it sink in and remember the Bible stories from Sunday: Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Psalm 46, Romans 3:22-38, and Luke 19: 1-10.
God blesses us everyone, all day!!
