This is the last week of January! Where does the time go? Do you ever stop to consider how time seems to fly by? Seems like yesterday certain things took place in my life. Sunday I reflected on my time growing up in the wonder-filled cul-de-sac, which just seems like yesterday.

I get reminded of time every time I have to enter my birthdate on some sign up online! It seems to take awhile to roll the years back to my birth year. (I am fully aware many of you are "chronologically gifted" beyond my years.) I also feel time when I pull up to CVS to get my prescriptions! You have to give your birthdate, and sometimes the person is so young you can just see the wheels turning....she's thinking, "Wow, you are old!" I know I have clothes older than most of them...

However, as Christians we know that all time past, present and future belongs to God! Ecclesiastes says in chapter 3:1: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven." Knowing all time belongs to God and there is time for everything (and it's God's timing, not ours) should relax the soul!

God's peace be with you,
Pastor Doug
