The Christmas Pageant this past Sunday was a tremendous experience for me! This was my first time seeing this most-talked-about event at church! I loved the solos from David Shake, Lisa Gold and Jennifer Baker. The kids were just great and who didn't love Justin and Renee Hollman as Joseph and Mary with baby Lee as Jesus?? It was an incredible program and really gave me and those attending or watching on Facebook a real Christmas blessing. (In my opinion). Thank you to Jan Smith and the many others who worked behind the scenes.
This definitely needs to be an annual event and we really don't need the extra liturgy (prayers, etc.) parts of the service around the play. I think singing "Go Tell It on the Mountain" is a wonderful sending for all of us. This, again, is just my opinion and I'll gladly work with others to put things together next year. Congratulations St. Andrews for a wonderful program that was a blessing for all, getting us really into the spirit of Christmas.
TOP THREE THINGS TO KNOW FOR THE WEEK OF DECEMBER 12TH:
1) Christmas Eve services are at 7 p.m. Faith Lutheran holds their service at 5 p.m. if that time is more favorable. These Holiday services are wonderful to invite a family member or friend to come with you! Invite, invite! YOU are the hands to reach out to others in the community to increase our numbers.

2) Christmas Morning, Festival of the Nativity service is December 25th, Sunday, a joint service with Faith at 10 a.m.
3) To complete the Holiday season, Sunday, January 1rst there is an 11 a.m. service at St. Andrews. As of January 8th, our service times change to 11 a.m. per the Shared Ministry Agreement with Faith Lutheran.
Sunday school for all ages will meet at 10 a.m. starting Jan. 8th, 2023. There will be no Adult Education or Sunday School obviously on Christmas and NY.
Stressed out? Lonely or struggling? Contact me and I'll be honored to listen and pray with you, always confidentially!
